Banbukeyo Pudding


Ingredients

5 eggs
1 cup sweetened beverage creamer
1 cup dhiyaa hakuru
2/3 cup sugar
1 small breadfruit (banbukeyo)


Preparation

1. add the eggs sugar and the dhiyaa hakuru and mix well.
2. cut the breadfruit into 2/3 and empty the inside.
3. pour the mixed content into the emptied breadfruit. steam it
4. after steaming, cool it and refrigerate.

** Frozen Solid, I could not quite understand what dish u requested for, the traditional maldivian banbukeyo bondibaiy or pudding. This is the recipe for pudding.

Meatballs

Ingredients

1 pound beef
3 large eggs
1 cup grated Locatelli cheese
1 cup bread crumbs
1 clove garlic (minced)
1 tbsp salt


Preparation

(all mixing is done by hand)
1. In a large bowl mix beef and eggs. Then add the bread crumbs, cheese and salt.
2. Finally add minced garlic in stages and then mix it a little. Add some more and again mix it. So this way all garlic doesnt end up in one meatball.
3. To roll up the meat balls, average sixe is arnd 2 inches per ball you could get like 20 meatballs.
4. Roll up the meat balls arrage them on a tray and then bake for 12 minutes on each side of the meat ball (baking doesnt take away the taste but cooking in the sauce would take away the taste)
5. Just drop the meat balls into the sauce heat it up and serve.

Chocolate Buscuit Pudding

Ingredients

1 pkt Munchie Marie Biscuits
1 tin butter
1 pkt icing sugar
cocoa
2 eggs (yolk)
cashew nuts
1 tin sweetened beverage creamer


Preparation

1. Add a little more than 1/2 of the icing sugar and butter into a mixing bowl and mix together. Add the yolks of 2 eggs and mix.
2. Add the cocoa into some boiling water mix it and pour it to the bowl and mix them again.
3. Add the creamer to some boiling water in another bowl and add the biscuits into the solution and soften them up.
4. In a tray add the mixture in a small layer and add arrange the biscuits in another layer on top of it. Again add a layer of the mixture and add some cashew nuts on top of it and add a layer of biscuits.
5. Repeat these steps for around 4 times and leave the tray to refrigerate and serve.

Chocolate Biscuit Fudge



Ingredients


1 tin butter

1 tin sweetened beverage creamer
4 tsp cocoa powder

1 pkt Munchie Marie Biscuits (cut each biscuit into 6 pieces)

2 tbsp of hazelnuts or cashewnuts


Preparation


1. Add 2/3 of the butter tin to a pan and cook till it boils.
2. Add 4 tsp of cocoa and bring it to boil.

3. Add 1 tin of creamer and stir well throughout.

4. When it comes to boil add the biscuits to it and mix properly.

5. Mix for like 5 mins and then transfer the contents to a tray and add the nuts on top.

6. Referigerate and serve.

** The dish is much tastier than the photo since I could not get an original photo for this recipe.

Chocolate Cake


** this is the easiest method to make chocolate cake by using a cake mix.

Ingredients

1 box devil’s food cake mix
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs

Chocolate Frosting:
1 cooking chocolate
1 cup sour cream at room temperature


Directions

Preheat oven to 350ยบ.
Grease bottom and sides of two deep cake pans.
Mix all ingredients on low speed for 1 minute.
Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Divide batter evenly between pans.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Cool for 10 minutes.
Melt chocolate over simmering water, stir until smooth.
Let cool to room temperature.
Mix sour cream into melted chocolate with wire whisk.
Frost as desired.

Lasagna (beef)



Ingredients


1 can corned beef
1 Onion (finely chopped)
3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
1 red bell pepper (diced)
1 carrot (diced)
1 stalk celery (diced)
1 sundried tomato (sliced into strips)
2 cans tomato paste
4 tbsp of chilli and garlic sauce
10 mushrooms (sliced)
basil
salt/pepper

5tbsp butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 cups heavy cream

Lasagna Noodles
Parmesan Cheese
Mozarella Cheese


Preparation

1. To Make the Vegetables: Add the onion and garlic in 2 tbsp of olive oil and soften them. Add the celery, carrot and pepper and keep for 10 mins.
Add in the sundried tomatoes and beef and cook for 5 mins.
Add in the canned tomato paste, mushrooms, chili garlic sauce and bring to boil and let simmer for 15 mins until majority of liquid is gone while stirring occasionaly. Finish by adding basil.

2. To make the sauce:
melt the butter and whisk in the flour to make a roux
Cook the roux for a few minutes until it starts to smell. Add some salt and pour the milk in slowling whisking constantly.
Cook of the flour in the sauce and finish it with one cup of cream. Reduce to 3/4 and then add the remainder of the cream.
Squeeze 1/2 a lemon in it.

3.Making the lasagna:
Cook the noodles and spread a layer of 3 in a greased pan.
Spread a layer of sauce over the noodles and spread a layer of vegetable filling on top of the sauce. Then grate cheese on top.
Repeat this steps 2 or 3 times.

While serving top with fresh pepper parmesan cheese.

Submarine



Ingredients

1/2 cup of mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup of dairy sour cream
2 tbsp mustard cream
1 green onion, finely chopped (2 tablespoons)
2 cups of cubed chicken (cut into cubes and boiled cooked)
6 tomato slices
2 submarine buns
2 leaves of chinese cabbage
1 tbsp pepper
1 cup of cheddered cheese
4 tbsp tomato sauce

Directions

1. To Make the Sauce: Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, mustard, green onion and pepper in a dish. Add the cooked chicken cubes into it and mix the contents.
2. Slice the submarine buns in half and spread the tomato sauce on the lower half and add the sauce. Add a lot of cheese on top and spread one leaf of the chinese cabbage on top and place the other half on top.

** u can substitue beef instead of chicken and add sausage slices in according to your taste.
